Welcome to Kempton Park Model Flying Club Website (ver 7.2)
Kempton Park Model Club is based at the famous Kempton Park Race Course in Sunbury On Thames, Middlesex.
The club operates within the security of the race course itself. Visitors have to be accompanied by a member at all times!
The grass runway is approx 100m long x 50m wide, and has recently been extended this year to allow take off's & landings from all four compass point directions! The club has also just invested in a brand new ride on mower to keep the grass in nice order too! A small width tarmac road seperates the strip from the parking / pits area.
Both fixed wing and helicopters are flown at our club, and can be electric, nitro or petrol powered. We also race cars & buggies around when it's too windy to fly !
The club has over 80 members.
A small group of flyers regulary meet on Tuesday & Thursday's morning around 10.30am and a larger group on Saturday or Sunday mornings so come along and join us !

No recent pic - sorry, but the patch has been cut very recently and is now green again due to the recent wet spell but nice and firm still. (no puddles !) Grass is growing fast - it was only cut at the begining of this week !
